March 2014 UPDATES –

- SLIDE SHOW for new business partners to watch.
- And the video on our video page is brand new and no longer 6 years old!

In 2010 I accidentally destroyed this blog. Oops! I was able to recover some portions of it (here), and there were some mid-2012 updates.

In a nutshell, our goal is to help internet marketing enthusiasts pair up with people who need to get their businesses online.

I got my start in 1998 helping a new business owner selling a stock trading strategy package to get his business off the ground. Within a year it had turned into a 5-figures-per-month business. After a couple of years he took his business primarily offline and started intensively direct mailing (not my focus of expertise). Please understand that this screen shot is from 2001.

In 2001 I did some work for a commodities trading strategy and software business, which immediately began adding over $200,000 per month to its gross income due to the advertising programs I created. Eventually they wanted me and my partner in California to actually move to Florida and work in their offices to justify our commissions. We said no. I can’t find out the lead generation page we created for them in 2002 but here is their 2005 home page.

From 2003 to 2007 I began working for a Canadian financial services company and helped it to generate an additional $1.5 million per year in revenues.

The world of internet marketing is always changing, and the constant quest of trying to keep up with valuable strategies, as well as figuring out what is bullshit, is a struggle. But I do have enough experience to help cut through the nonsense and give you solid advice on what I think will work.

Marketer Signup Page (Start the process of working with qualified small businesses)

In the original manifestation of this blog, this was one of the first graphics I used to illustrate one of my main points, which is that if a marketer works with an established business, rather than trying to start his own business from scratch, he can eliminate a ton of work that goes into being an entrepreneur.

And start making just as much money, or more, only faster.

The original graphic (before I hacked it up) came from Rich Schefren’s free ebook, the Internet Marketing Manifesto.

Essentially, my point is that if you’re an Internet marketer who’s exhausted and bitter, why not try working with a real business? That way you don’t have to worry about all the stuff that’s been X-ed out above, because the actual business owner is the one who takes care of that stuff (or should be). What YOU, as a web marketer, should be focused on, is the stuff that’s circled in blue – the stuff that you probably already know inside and out.

And if you’re a small business owner, just having a web site will do nothing for you. You need to make sure that your site is attracting the right audience, giving them the right offer, presenting it well, overcoming all their objections, and turning traffic into buyers. You need to make sure that all those things circled in blue (above) are being handled.
